Yes I like it, too. Who was playing solo guitar?

Maybe PJ Wright?

Yes I think so. It was a great version.

I think they need to stick with instrumentals and guest vocalists or Chris though as both Peggy & Simon seem to be struggling vocally.

I thought Simon's vocals were fine - held the long notes during Wat Tyler. Nice to hear Wounded Whale too.

Yes they improved vastly in the second half. Vocal chords warmed up I guess.

Same old schtick year in year out.  The sound drops out all the time and the presenters were dreadful.  However, in the absence of any other means of listening in, my thaks to Radio Oxford for doing it.

Well, dispatches from the site have been mighty thin on the ground on here this year but the radio coverage is now underway with a live session from Fraser Nimmo.

It sounds as though the usual technical drop outs are fully in play again. You would have thought that the BBC would have worked out how to do this by now.

For people like myself who have a massive geographical distance and a pretty cost of travel before I can be present in the field, it’s a great substitute with the BBC Oxford live coverage.I feel I am there with you in spirit, although warm and dry in front of the fire and with the glass near by. John the Gun was my highlight this year, by the way. Cool Wink
