I was having a browse in my local record store and it caught my eye. A few pounds later it was in my pocket. Really good album, haven't managed to hear all of it but really enjoying the variety and so many new names to me. A lot of rockier tracks but also really lovely acoustic songs. Recommended.

Fresh Maggots???

Made just the one album for RCA in 1971 which commands a pretty hefty price these days, usually around £300 to £400 for a mint copy.

A record shop used to give me sleeves to stick on my wall at Uni , that was one of them . Nothing inside though!!

Makes you wonder what happened to the records that once lived within the jackets.

I have a copy of Sergeant Pepper and one of Out Of the Blue in just their paper sleeves that my Mum bought in a jumble sale many years ago...

I think they were given to the shops by the record companies for display advertising. They would never have held a record. Ambergris was another that it didn't work for but had a nice sleeve.  Grin

I  have †a duplicate, unplayed copy of the reissue (2005 LP) if anyone is interested.
