Hadn't seen anything interesting on cassette for ages but I spotted a copy of Alan Hull's Another Little Adventure, in my local Oxfam, this afternoon.
It's an excellent little live album, on Black Crow Records, that came out in 1988, Ridiculous value for 50p!

Absolute bargian and an album I'd love to hear. Alan Hull was a great writer and had the amazing voice that added so much personality to his songs

Have asked for a cd/cassette player for Christmas, as all this talk of cassettes has made me want to listen to mine if they are still working.

(And some firms will deliver to us if they aren’t averse to island postcodes ) But we are allowed off the island periodically, to visit electrical retailers in the nearest town, 120 miles away ...my cassettes WILL play again!

The 'Oo and Polydor have done a good job on this: https://store.thewho.com/*/*/WHO-Cassette/690C0000000Looks very similar to a classic 70's Poly cassette. Even got paper labels... And, fwiw, I like the album. It's got a mature feel, but not (in the main) in a naff way. The quality control slips on a couple of tracks, but it's far far better than many other Who albums.
