50p yesterday for "10" by The Mad Capsule Markets. A right old mashup of rock, rap, electronics and allsorts from a Japanese trio (plus friends).  Imagine - if you will/can/dare - Prodigy and Sigue Sigue Sputnik with added metal and hardcore.  Shocked

Makes you feel a nostalgic pull for that 50p coin, eh?

The Planxty compilation: Between The Jigs & The Reels - A Retrospective CD/DVD is currently on Amazon for £4.73, which is an absolute bargain.

The Dyble Longdon CD "Between a Breath and a Breath" is under £5 in the Burning Shed summer sale. If you haven't heard it, you are missing some wonderful music......

Meanwhile, a quick whizz round the charity shops in Whitchurch (Shropshire) en route from Merseyside to Glos today yielded: 2 CDs by DNA Strings (S. African folky/rocky), Robert Miles' "Organik" CD, Joni Mitchell "Hits" CD and a 2CD set "Ella Fitzgerald sings Cole Porter". £1 each.

Burning Shed report that Rock Pots are calling it a day.

All their mugs are now £4.99 instead of £7.99.  Includes lots of nice Fairport and related plus loads of other good ones.  There's a few Gentle Giant tees  too

It's all relative but there's a seller on Amazon who's got the new VdGG box Interference Patterns (all the reformation stuff) for £69.22 inc p&p

That's 13CDs and a DVD

Via a circuitous route and a mate in another country, Joni Mitchell's "The Asylum Albums (1972–1975)" for considerably cheaper than the £40 price on Amazon.

Well worth a listen.
