I know, I took advantage of this (free copy of their 1st CD) along with a half price offer for their current one. With postage etc it came to a tenner for both albums, not too bad.

That's a good deal 😀

Lindisfarne - Nicely Out of Tune

After watching the programme on BBC4 last night about Alan Hull. I didn't know he'd been such a prolific song writer.

Our dish blew out of line last night but fortunately I've downloaded it on catch up. Sky engineer due in 10 minutes. Grin

I almost didn't recognise Mark Knopfler. He's looking rather like the late great Neil Innes these days.  Grin

Now listening to Fog on the Tyne.

I quite enjoyed it, but what have preferred less of Sam Fender saying "oh, I didn't know that" every five minutes.

Lol - I said exactly the same thing (with a few invectives thrown in for good measure) to my other half.

Lots of Jackson Browne this morning - World In Motion (which I had never heard until today), and then the two Solo Acoustic albums.

Been getting annoyed (really annoyed) about people who go on holiday abroad during an ever-changing pandemic and then complain when travel restrictions are brought in. You took the risk!! Get over it!!  Roll Eyes

Anyway, the sublime and marvellous Dean Friedman will calm me down. A mix of old songs and his new one American Lullaby. Wonderful stuff! He's at Acapela Studios in Cardiff on 13 May 2022... great Christmas Present...  Cheesy

And probably some Ben Folds after that.

And..... relax  Cool

There seems to be such a lack of basic common sense (and concern for others) around at the moment.

Came down with a bugger of a cold yesterday so am listening to the soothing sounds of Nick Keir - his album Fishing Up The Moon which has a song called The Beatles Played Kirkcaldy.
