There's a new ISB Fillmore '70 recording released today (radio broadcast - who knows where the profits go) https://www.viveleshop.com/collections/frontpage/products/the-incredible-string-band-live-at-filmore-west-1970-cd-released-12-08-22

Yes, I'm curious about this.  Official? Who knows? I may ask Mr Whittaker.

Do you know Adrian, Alan?  Nice guy...

A new First Aid Kit  album, November 4th. Sounds a long way off but it'll be here soon enough.

I'm growing to like The Lion's Roar, though it's a slow burner.

And very nice it is too.  Decent sound.  Fairly cheap and cheerful design with typos et all, still looks pretty good, mind.  Bit short and sweet but a nice addition to the discography nonetheless

Looks interesting,  buy once again I have maybe a third of the material already, and really need to cut back on buying.

I would have thought having a third of the material already was almost a pre-requisite of wanting to buy it  Wink Grin

After their set at Cropredy looking forward to the new Turin Brakes. And for those who enjoy being shouted at there is a new Gogol Bordello.

So Nash returns to former musical partner because he doesn't love Crosby anymore.

Is that meant to sound quite as bitchy as it does? Grin  They've never stopped being mates - remember there was a Hollies album featuring Graham in the mid 80s.

Nash wasn't speaking to Crosby much then either. I don't think it's a coincidence.

King Crimson boxed set (and CD/DVD release) of Toby Amies' "ITCOTCK" film due beginning of December. Boxed set includes blu-ray, dvd, booklet & 4 CDs - quite a lot of unreleased audio & visual material. Ordered. £65 from Burning Shed.

Includes the final song (Starless) from the last (ever?) KC concert in Japan - already easily found on youtube.

I can't decide whether to get this or just the film itself.  Would I ever listen to the discs...?  Probably not...

Several around here will no doubt be cheered by the news that Tracey and Ben have announced there will be a new Everything But The Girl Album (the first since '99!) in the spring...
