I might go for it this time,  if they rectify the faults it was prone to last time- broken trays etc.
My first copy had one cd missing (an empty slipcase). Amazon were very good and sent a second copy before I'd returned the first (just before it sold out).

Somewhat lower down the league tables of re-release costs, I've just nabbed a near-mint copy of Beefheart's "Safe As Milk" album (Buddha label remaster incl bonus tracks) for £1.99 + p&p!!

I think I paid 14/6d for my old vinyl copy... from an electrical retailer who seemed to stock a small and random selection of records.
I think you would have bought it from the old Marble Arch rack. A good source of albums by Donovan and The Kinks as well as Kenny Ball and old blues artistes. In fact anything that had been on Pye.

That's exactly right - I'd forgotten Marble Arch... thanks Nick!

Definitive boxed set of Kevin Ayers early  albums.  £100  from Cherry Red.

I don't need it , bug new fans might like to catch up, if they want to make the commitment.

Looking at the track list I was surprised, indeed almost shocked, and stunned, to see the only appearance of " Stranger in blue suede shoes" on disc 9 videos😱
I thought it would be on in a few versions😮

Well Jules, I was trying to work out what Jim meant.  In case I was missing something.   'Stranger...' was an album track on Whatevershebringswesing, so is definitely included once as audio.

I've cracked and ordered the upcoming release of Pallas: Eyes In The Night 1981-1986 (6 CDs and a BluRay of a live concert).  I was holding out so well, but finally gave in!

I'm cool with the nice, just so long as I don't have to decode the actual meaning.
