This will, as always, be a complete blast and if you can do so, please do come along. Wendy and I and our friend Jayne will be the mad stewards, along with many sane ones, helping you all around the site.

Im seriously considering this one but can anyone tell me what goes with the Wednesday and Thursday ( 5 day ticket) ? Not sure about a 5 dayer with restricted holidays off work ? What a fab line up . What a superb audience. ?

On the Wednesday there is an excellent barbecue and Morris dancing. A good chance to meet up with friends, a bit like the Pavilion meet up at Cropredy.
On the Thursday there are a lot of smaller acts playing and general sessions at the bar.

Thursday's music last year started at 11.00 a.m. and went on till 23.00 p.m.  A brilliant day.  There are also some lovely walks to be had in the area.

I am hoping we get to this one next year.  Oysterband and 3 daft monkeys, means my missus is interested. The only questions my wife has is "what are the toilets like?, and can you park next to your tent?"

Hi Trev
Campsite opens at 12 on Wednesday, arena opens at 6.
We have morris dancing Barby and a singaround all centred around the bar (just a chilled night after some long journeys)

Thursday we have a stage in the bar and have local bands all day and eve top and tailed by singarounds

Oh and there is beer to drink  Grin

If anyone wants to jump in and say from their perspective if its worth an early visit

Edit..................should have read all the replies first doooo thanks guys explained it far better than I

We already bought our tickets last year - on site.
2019 will be our 4th attendance at this superb festival.

Perfect sound, perfect organisation and again a cracking line-up in 2019.
