A quick question based on an observation, with no ulterior motive.
I just casually noted the front page stat that there are 106 guests and 6 members/users logged in at the moment (lunchtime Wednesday, with no great or relevant news stories). Is that usual or typical?
I wondered if any of the guests may be bots or others who may be testing the system, as opposed to (I hope) genuinely interested individuals.

Thanks

You can normally tell by what pages they are reading. Mostly it will be bots searching for a way in and a small number of search engines cataloging the site.

A lot of people do monitor TAW, but not log on.

Right now the are 90 guests, of which 11 seem to be simply on a standard browser.
