I'd go, but it's way out of my area, so I'll have to  wait till they record something.  Trees are one of my favourite bands. The expanded On the Shore has a couple of 2009 recordings, iirc.

How many original members are still with us?  And of those, how many are playing in this concert?

Hi

https://www.cafeoto.co.uk/events/the-music-of-trees/#

Celia posted on facebook that she'd have loved to be there to sing a song or two but for various personal reasons can't make it.  I'm not sure how many of the rest of the original (or later) band are still with us, but I'm unaware of any who have departed this mortal coil...

As far as I know, David Costa and Bias Boshell are part of this event.. Unwin Brown passed away in 2008, Not sure about any of the others except Celia who is alive and living in France and who is still a good friend  Smiley

Capacity is only 200, but yeah, promising indeed.  Looking forward to it, if not exactly to being in London on the Friday before Christmas!

Best laid plans and all that...  Sad

Sadly I've had to pull out, but thankfully my tickets were sold very easily (with the help of the band).  I'm sure it will be fab and I'm looking forward to hearing all about it.

Very well.  Sold out.  Happy crowd.  Happy band.  To be repeated apparently (in a 'watch this space' kind of way)... I might have, er, heard it, and it might just be, um, 'bloody good'  Smiley
