There's an exhibition at the Royal Museum of Scotland at the moment about Scottish Pop music and there's also a BBC TV programme called Rip It Up. Episode 1 is on iPlayer and starts just post war, passing through skiffle into folk and through to the 70's. Features the Corries, Incredible String Band, Donovan, Lulu, Nazareth, Average White Band, Alex Harvey.  All good so far!

There's nothing wrong with being normal, just don't be ordinary.

Thanks, Ade.  Funnily enough, I was looking at the website for ‘Rip It Up’ last night -  It looks like a very entertaining show.
