That apparatus of Pugs' shown above would look at home in a hospital!

You drink too much of that stuff and you'll be at home in a hospital. Smiley

I was considering turning up with a pack of Babycham, but my dealer couldn't get it to me on time.

Daughter of YaBB has been maturing something in her kitchen for a few months. I suggest you politely refuse.

I have a bottle of ethanol.

Reminder: This year we will be gathering at about 7:30pm, just as Afro Celt Sound System are due to finish.

Be there. Bring horrible drinks and money.

Bretons mix it with lemonade before drinking... they call it Pop Plin.

Apologies for the double post, but I'd like to be the first to suggest/request Alan Stivell for Cropredy 2019...

What Lucy means is that the home brew dissolved the glass bottle it was in and is going to need a team of men in bio-hazard suits to render it safe.
Still not as bad as Pug's creation.

Just got home from playing with the uke group at a local fayre. My little bass amp was miked into the PA... I bet I could be heard across Gloucester! Now I really could do with a stiff drink, but I shall refrain until the appointed hour.

I look forward to viewing numerous photographs of libations and reactions.

This year, I'll have in my thoughts my mum in law Joan and triathlon mate Rich...

Morning all!

The money has been counted and desipte the torrential rain (and having to dry the cash out!) we raised £180 this year.

If there is anyone who didn't manage to make it to the toast and would like to donate we now have a JustGiving page -

https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/talkawhile-18

I will make the group donation shortly.

There were two genuinely awful drinks this year Fisherman’s Friends vodka by Dad Volt and, (there was some debate on whether it was bison or baffalo widdle) by that Frog. I don’t care to chose the most awful.

Most, while being ghastly to some degree, were just about quaffable in a field in Oxfordshire in the pouring rain. Heart warming.

As usual I didn’t suffer any ill effects. Well done one and all! Any photos yet?

I’ve a few pix which I’ll get to later. Mostly taken after the actual toast as it was hissing down then.
Surprisingly palatable stuff this year. We are slipping.

I'll see your two drinks (which were terrible as you rightly say) and raise you the 'gentleman' with a spray container which had multiple ingredients. That was truly awful  Cheesy Fez Tiara
