I guess it just reflects demand, but didn't he start out with this band saying he wanted to play smaller shows, and now he's playing the Albert Hall, and charging over £50 a ticket even for the other shows?  Well, there's nothing closer to me than Southampton or London, so I don't have to feel bad about not being able to pay that much anyway.

But I would like to see them...

Last tour they played 3 nights at the Roundhouse which would be about the same size audience as a night at the Royal Albert Hall. This tour is more provincial than previous ones so I guess saving their energy from London will help elsewhere.

As for costs, I've just paid the same for a ticket to Bath Forum as I paid for one of those Roundhouse gigs. So if they're a bit expensive at least they're consistent.

I suspect they will be playing festivals next summer.

Cheers

I've been looking at Sheffield too and you've got the cheapest tickets, more expensive seats range from £49.55 to £55.15.

More venues announced.  £50 for standing at Guildford, or £56 for seated there, or at Oxford (our other nearest venue).

Thanks so much for this, Will...would have missed it otherwise.  My old 6th form chums and I are booked in for this (and 'only' £47 standing if booked direct from the venue)  Smiley

I went for the bundle with a shirt and signed poster.
Now I need to restrain myself from buying the vinyl too.

Nice...I've just gone for the disc set and signed poster.  Will probably buy a tee at Guildford though.  Excited about this.

Very good!

And exactly what I've hoped for. I did worry that either they would not officially release anything from this project, or they would attempt to do something in the studio.

Looking forward to hearing The Nile Song again.

Cheers

One of the daughters just announced that the release, according to Amazon, has been delayed from 17th April until 18th September, which messes up my birthday present but is just in time for hers😠
No doubt Covid 19 is somewhat to blame😱

Indeed...it's to tie it in with the tour...
