There might not be a fat lot of singing, thinking about it....depending on the set list, it could be all instrumental.
The keyboard guy is an unknown quantity, maybe it'll be him.

Now I think about it...if they do Careful With That Axe, Eugene...who's gonna have a crack at Roger's scream ?

If he is going to be singing and you have a ticket, I'll gladly take it off your hands Jules  Smiley

Me?  The only ticket I've bought in the past week was for a bus.

If Mason reprises his most famous vocal performance, I will be outside the venue singing Unchained Melody and The Man from Laramie in protest.

A friend of mine went with reserved expectations and came away singing the band’s praises, especially the work of “That bloke from Spandau Ballet”. His previous gig, incidentally, was Roger Waters’ all-flashing, all-belasered touring behemoth.

I'd forgotten about this.  Just spent half an hour watching the better of the videos out there in youtubeland.  It looks 'fun'.

I think my main issue with it (in a negative sense) is the guitar sound.  It's got a really 'angular' late 70's jerky guitar tone that sounds nothing like the original band.  Then again, I guess it's when Gary learnt to play, so it's not that surprising.... Undecided

How much were tickets for the Half Moon?  £50+ for this lot... Gulp.  I've got a friend who works for the Pompey Guildhall.  I've just dropped her a line lol...

Nick Mason is bringing his Saucerful of Secrets to the states in the spring of 2019!!!!!  It gets better - he's actually coming to Texas!!!!!!!

I may go nuts and buy tickets to Houston and Dallas.  Still hoping he'll add an Austin date...  Better go buy SOS and learn it by heart.

They play early Floyd in general, not just that album.

Plus, Nick's said he's going to add some more stuff, which, pun not intended, may mean a chance of Cymbaline. If so...i'm moving to the States. And yeah...go nuts...go twice.

If he's adding stuff, I predict he'll sprinkle in some DSOTM/WYWH/Wall material for the American audience, which is less familiar with early PF.  As my granddaughter would say, "I'm so essited!"

I can't see this band playing that material.  But, I guess the truth will tell.
