Let's hope they do a bigger, more, like, erm, nationwide tour due to public demand...

I hope this is a workshop for a tour, hopefully with some U.S. dates?

Although who am I kidding?  At best he would go to New York and L.A. and nowhere in between.  Sad

Well, I never.  One or two people will no doubt be getting extremely wealthy with some of these tickets...  How much did they actually cost?

Thirty quid, but they are a photo ID deal.
I don't have Twitter, but Gary Kemp has supposedly Tweeted that there may be more dates in the Autumn.

This is a lot of fuss to make about a drummer, isn't it?

Gary Kemp is in the band, along with Lee Harris of the Blockheads (who's idea it was), Guy Pratt, and keyboards by Dom Beken a Composer/Producer/Sound Designer, it seems.

Bejesus.  Really?  Sounds a right old hotch potch!

I'm assuming the setlist is going to be mainly 60's Floyd?

Nick Mason and his all star band?
No Floyd without Guy Pratt, it would seem.

Gary Kemp is a brilliant singer/songwriter.

I think this band sounds amazing, if they tour we might get Bristol but we won't get Cardiff

In a way, this IS Pink Floyd, as Nick is the only member who hasn't quit or passed away. And when did anybody get to see Pink Floyd in a small London venue since 1967 ? I jest, of course.
These days, the fan base are happy to have Gilmour and and Waters playing now and then to get a Floydy fix. To have the other surviving member added to that is a major bonus, especially as his lot will be playing songs not heard since 1973 or before that. Also Nick's drumming was a lot more prominent back in the space era, on stuff like Set The Controls and Saucerful, and others.
It will be good for him to just get out and play, anyway.
Floyd was only going to happen if Dave was into it, and Dave wasn't into it. Plus he's said he got fed up with his occasional guest slot during an encore at Gilmour or Waters' solo shows when they rolled into town, and wouldn't do that anymore.
 Good for him.

I don't doubt any of that.  I'm only interested in whether they're any good or not.  Is Kemp going to be singing?
