I've done a Clashfinder if anyone wants to have a look.

Not sure if I can post a link, so google Clashfinder and search cropredy2018

It doesn't do acts before 12:00 and only covers Thursday to Saturday.

Never heard of this before (then again, the only festival i go to is Cropredy once every few years, and then it is Saturday only). But thanks for doing this, really useful.

Is there any way I can get a Cropredy 2018 programme online, or will I haveto beg someone to send me one?

I think they sell them online certainly after the event.

Still getting Ticketmaster reminders about tickets for Cropredy so I guess nowhere near a sellout this year.

Thanks for the Clashfinder, Keith. ( Any chance of a PiLfinder?  Wink )

I guess Merry Hell won't be playing the entire 3.5 hours from 4pm... I hope not, as I'll have to get the bus to Banbury at 1845!

Programmes are usually available at the warm-ups on Monday/Tuesday - so could post you one to arrive before the festival even starts if you like!

That is so kind. I wasn’t dropping a hint in my above post, just finding out how to get one...of course, the kindness of TAWers is amazing, as ever.

Do you think he’ll play all those 34 songs at Croppers? May have to be a truncated version!

The poster says “Brian Wilson presents Pet Sounds”, so I would expect all of the second half (Pet Sounds) plus the encore.

Here's a very recent setlist

https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/brian-wilson/2018/wilson-center-cape-fear-stage-wilmington-nc-3bebc8e0.html

Obviously, this may be somewhat curtailed given it is a festival performance...

Blondie Chaplin wasn't an original Beach Boy, he was in the band for a couple of years in the 70s.

He's a major part of my favourite BB album...Holland.  Also Carl & the Passions and that live album from around then as well.  All stellar stuff.

Blondie and Rikki were in the band when I saw them (Brian was in bed at the time!) Love Carl and the Passions (and Surfs up). Holland is pretty fine too though.

There were a few questions being posed earlier in this thread about Field 8 and whether you needed wristbands for it and how could they control that on the Wednesday when wristbands weren’t available.

So having checked my tickets tonight (I have a field 8 ticket) I found a letter with them specifically about field 8 camping from Gareth which says....

"Once you have set up in your camping spot, please go to the Campsite Control cabin and exchange your tickets for a wristband. Only those wearing festival wristbands will be permitted onto Field 8 on Wednesday and throughout the festival."

Note to self. This is the correct order-Arrive, pitch tent, get wristband, open beer.  Wink Fez

Blondie Chaplin and Ricky Fataar joined the beach Boys from a South African band called Flame.  They joined when Bruce Johnston left and when Dennis Wilson was out of action as a drummer thanks to an accident in which he broke his wrist.  They could also sing and write.  Ricky went onto become Stig O'Hara in The Rutles!
