Having read that John Fogerty is gigging with the Steve Miller Band, and Peter Frampton has been/will be sharing dates with SMB... that'd be a helluva "classic rock" slot for Thursday evening. If of course those guys float yer boat.

NEWSFLASH

Having failed to find a headline Act for Thursday ,  Gareth Malone has been hired to turn the crowd into a gigantic choir.

Inspired by the mass hanky waving this spectacular Performance Art will be announced in a press conference  on the morning of April 1st.

For no apparent reason I just got an email from the Spooky Men. Now there's a top idea.

I agree, but they only come over every two years so it would have to be a 2019 booking. Saw them a Towersey last year and they were terrific.

Day 92 (since tickets first went on sale) and still no sign of a final line-up   Huh

What will we do?    Sad  What will we do?  Cry  Will nobody think of the children  Shocked

Beautiful Days tickets have been on sale for a month now and they haven’t announced a single act.

Indeed, although the line-up would have been announced by now, but events have transpired.  Sad

I'm usually happy to buy tickets for a festival I know I like without seeing the line-up (Bearded, Beaut Days, Salop and a few others) because I trust the organisers to get it mostly right and to be in tune with my tastes, and because there are so many different stages to choose from if the headliners are duff. Cropredy is an exception, it's line-up dependent for me, mostly because of the one stage thing, and the cost.

Now that's an underwhelming line-up.

God help us, that's a poor line up. Not sure I would be delighted if I had bought tickets before hand. Even Sat only tickets are £60. Cropredy at least meets minimum standards regardless of who is on.

She is.  She should bring her old man too...I see the Professionals are in active mode.

I think so too. It was on there when the announcement was made. There’s nothing new on the Fairport Facebook page but you never know....hopefully we’ll get news of the line up this week?

Tickets are on sale now and I’ve got mine to see John Fogerty and the Steve Miller Band at the O2 in October...well pleased  Grin
