No basis to this comment at all but I have a feeling that The Cranberries (or Dolores new band The Dark) may have been booked and now there could be a scramble to find another act after the dreadful news last week...pure speculation on my part so don’ t read anything in this or berate me for thinking it

... or perhaps The Fall?!

Peggy said from the stage this evening that they expect to be able to confirm the full lineup very shortly.

If there is no basis to the comment why would you make it? We could all say the same after Mark e Smith's sad passing. Or anyone else, really.

You'd have to delete 80% of the stuff on here if that was in the rules!

From Peggy's pages in the 2018 Wintour programme "This year we will be remembering dear Sandy Denny, as it's forty years ago that she passed away. Some dear friends will guest with us to perform several of our favourite Sandy songs".

Just like 2008, the 30th anniversary of Sandy's passing, when Percy and Kristina Donahue performed "The Battle Of Evermore"

In 2013 the final line-up was announced on 31st Jan, so it isn't over-late yet.  But still, it would be good to hear some more!

The announcement is not unusually late.It just feels like it is.

It has the feel of a botched up job,and I know that's unfair.

We are seeing all the other festivals announce their headliners if not full bill and it seems like there is something wrong.

I am sure it will have a negative effect on ticket sales if the Thursday headliner is some introspective unexciting musicians , musician. Or a singer songwriting fish out of water. God save us from something cold and technical .

Oh perlease...  none of us knows how incredibly hard it is to organise a festival...

They are doing their job, you are being impatient, but why?

It will all come together and if peeps don like the line up no one is forced to go.

All will be revealed when they are ready!
