This seems more or less the place to point out that (it has been revealed) Rose Simpson is completing a book about her life with the ISB.  We may see this later on in the year.

Indeed.  Should be fun.  Think she was Mayor of Aberystwyth in later life if I remember correctly...

Yes that's right. There was a brief flurry of press interest in Rose some years ago and her new status was a talking point.

And incidentally will be coming to the Dr Strangely Strange gig in April that nobody but me is wildly excited about.  I never knew Ivan Pawle was actually asked to replace Rose in the String Band.  Apparently.

Cripes.  Nice, and relatively cheap and cheerful, but a bit of a lost opportunity me thinks?

I'm hearing that it doesn't include the bonus cuts released as digital downloads last year.  If that's right, then someone needs a cowboy boot up the arse.

It's a different market, I guess.  This is the sort of bargain basement 3 and 5 album reissue jobs.  But bigger....

I think I am probably in for this. I do have all the RCA material on various twofers that will find their way to a charity shop. I only have most of the Pacific Arts stuff as downloads or on compilations apart from Tropical Campfires which I have in physical form
