Sounds interesting.  Looking forward to hearing what it sounds like.

Again not a reissue -but still of interest to a few TAW's I think (perhaps should also start a thread called -"Interesting new releases"!)

Been waiting for this for a while. Hopefully there'll be a UK tour to coincide, last time over here they were on fire.

Also due, expanded 3 disc reissues for the long out-of-print State of Our Union and Two Fisted Tales. Already got the original vinyl and the Primo CDs but all those extras look pretty tempting.

Oh, that's good news.  I'd avoided the box set because they left Still Get By off it which annoyed me far more than it had any right to, so I only have the expanded edition of Native Sons on CD.

That was Stephen McCarthy's call, he insisted it was left off, although I've no idea why.

I know.  Utterly baffling and ridiculous.

I'm not enough of a RT fan to want this, but fans with fat wallets might be interested.

Expanded reissued of Badfinger's two Warner Brothers albums due at the end of the month.

Unfortunately word is that the remastering is poor (heavily compressed) but bag loads of extras. Bit pricey for single discs though.

Is this based upon review copies?

Anyone picked up the new Sainsbury’s folk-rock sampler LP yet?

That’s kind of my question. I couldn’t find a track listing when it was announced, but by the artists shown on the cover it looks pretty Island-centric. I think it was put together by Pete Paphides, who’s got a pretty good track record (hah!) when it comes to these compilations.

The new Kate Bush remasters sound stunning.
I knew many songs of hers but didn't own any album so far.
The new boxes (or download sets in my case) are a good way to fill that gap with excellent sounding issues.

My mistake - Bob Stanley compiled it. As far as I know they’re limited editions and available in store only, although I guess that if you have your Sainsbury’s shop delivered, you might be able to get hold of it that way.  Huh The previous West Coast compilation has turned up on Discogs for around £20.

Apparently there's a 'super store' in Swansea Bay...there isn't one in Llanelli where I'm living...so I may have to trot along next week.  Thanks!
