Just a bit of notice that the Fairport at 50 Radio 2 documentary, narrated by Bob Harris will be aired tomorrow night

So that will be Wednesday the 29th March at 10 pm and (available later on iPlayer if you happen to want to watch the BBC4 tribute to Brian Pern which is on at the same time!  Grin)
see here for details and yes I might be on it, but what I have said remains a bit of a mystery.  Shocked

I thought it was okay. I resisted the feeling of 'heard it all before' which nearly stopped me from bothering with it. (I have recordings of 2 Sandy radio documentaries, and at least 2 Nick Drake documentaries - possibly a Farirport one too, in addition to HIstory of British Folk Rock - this  from the '80s I think). Didn't tape this time, but sat through t he whole thing, and found it satisfying. Well edited, with enough interview clips to keep it interesting.

Edit -- just noticed there are 2 threads going on this. My post could be duplicated to the other, if a kindly moderator would oblige . ..

Yet another wasted opportunity do do justice to its subject.
Bob "bloody" Harris, pah!
and not  a mention of the short lived Swarb, Peggy, Tony Blackburn, Teresa May and David Hockney line up that so many of us remember fondly from our visits to the city of jute and marmalade.
Remind me, when did Peggy get that xray vision thing sorted out?

Laughing at that poster and your comments, Jim.  Took me ages to figure out that "Teresa May" is in fact supposed to be Trevor Lucas.
