In 1965 I heard a record on the radio which, to me me, sounded absolutely fantastic. I do not know if it was on radio Luxembourg or one of the pirate stations.
I went to the biggest record shop in town and ordered it, I did go there almost every week but in the end it took four months before it arrived.

I found several clips of that song but the one below was the best of all, young people dancing. I do not know if the images were taken from a tv broadcast
or that someone filmed it in some club, the song is Get yourself home by The Fairies:

Also done by The Pretty Things:

The song was written by The Pretty Things manager but they rejected it, but as I found out now they did record it at the time. After hearing their version I still prefer the one done by The Fairies.

Who could possibly forget Ramblin' Rod & His New Morris Van, with their 1984 single '(I Can Do The) Molly Dance'?

Pretty much everybody, that's who.  But for obscurity value:

Not sure if this will work or not...but if it does, it should be a nice video of Phil Beer's tribute to Lemmy.

Here's something I stumbled across:

William D Drake 'Lifeblood'

Not as good as the album version. The mix on this live version is a shocker, but plenty of Hurdy Gurdy action.
(Apparently the genre chamber/prog.)

Here is a soothing tune by Inge Thomson for anyone still struggling with their tax return (sigh).  Even if you are not fond of Inge’s music, I think you will be captivated by Ollie…

The title track from Trembling Bells new album. Definitely more folky than some of their recent stuff, but still as good. Still think Lavinia has one of the best voices in the folk scene.

7 tracks...I believe they're calling it a 'mini album' aren't they?  It's been in the live repertoire for about 2 or 3 years.  Lovely track.  I like the weird sh1t too, mind  Smiley
