If anyone was going to the Rails tonight in Halifax, well, you're not now, sadly...

There was a fascinating interview with him on Johnnie Walker’s programme this afternoon (R2, 3 pm).  It included an interesting comparison between ‘Southern Man’ and ‘Roll out the Barrel’.

Coincidentally I saw one of their current singers playing one of the leads in the ENO production of Chess at the London Colisseum yesterday.

Shall I admit it? Yes I’m going to see Bryan Adams at Wembley Arena on 30 May! Actually seen him 4 or 5 times and he actually puts on a very good show

Fairport at The Acapella in Pentyrch, near Cardiff - tomorrow night. Going with my daughter, who had no choice but to listen to my folky cassettes in the car when she was small!

Juvenile indoctrination is definitely the way to go!  All of mine have been subjected to it.  Can't say any of them are yet fully fledged folkies, but they know the words to many songs, and will happily accompany me to FC gigs (as long as I'm paying, anyway!).

Tonight, David Crosby, Paramount Theater!

I checked my VIP tix and I apparently did not purchase the uber-expensive photo op, but rather some autographed merch and a 4th-row seat.  I'm not complaining.  I'll post a link to the Chronicle's or Stateman's review, tomorrow.

Almost cut my hair... It happened just the other day.
It's getting kind of long...I could have said it was in my way.
But I didn't, and I wonder why
I feel like letting my freak flag fly?
I feel like I owe it to someone.

Fishguard folk festival all weekend.
Sounds great - as long as the weather's good - with lots of stuff going on around the town from Friday to Monday, much of it free.
