Maybe, possibly, Joe Jackson, Friday at the Paramount.  I've never had the pleasure...

Just booked my next few gigs:

June 17 - Jon Boden (solo) at Nettlebed (John Spiers will apparently be doing a support set, so hoping for some duo stuff too!)

June 29 - The Copper Family at Cecil Sharp House. †Never been there before, or heard the Coppers, other than recorded.

July 8 - Jackie Oates at Nettlebed.  Billed as 'Lace Tellings - A Radio Ballad', based on the lives of the lacemakers of Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire.  Special guests including John Spiers and Jack Rutter, and Megan Henwood too.

Wow! That would be nice, to see Spiers and Boden back doing stuff together! Though I love what John does with Peter Knight.

If anyone is going to the Topic 80th Birthday bash, you're in for a treat as Norma Waterson is going to be there (according to Marry, on Twitter)

Canít remember if Iíve posted this before so apologies but quite excited about this! On Friday 21 June itís back to my misspent youth although now a slightly different occasion than when I first bought the tickets. Itís Buzzcocks, The Skids and Penetration at the Royal Albert Hall (I bet some 40 years ago they never thought theyíd be playing the RAH!). With the sad passing of Pete Shelley, the event has been turned into a celebration of his life. The whole evening will be compered by Paul Morley with Penetration and Pauline Murray opening. The Skids with Richard Jobson are on next followed by Buzzcocks. This will include original members Steve Diggle, John Maher and Steve Garvey.  Not sure if Howard Devoto will be there though. There will also be guest vocalists including Dave Vanian, Captain Sensible, Thurston Moore,Tim Burgess and Peter Perrett. I did have a spare ticket I was going to advertise on this site but itís been taken by a friend so sorry all  Wink

I really do hope Howard does turn up, but I seem to remember reading (at the time of the release of the awesome Buzzkunst Pete/Howard album) about some lengthy feud between him and Diggle?
