Thanks John. It's been a while since I saw them. Shame about Mick Ralphs (and of course, the sadly missed Boz Burrell)

I'm going to see The Rutles at the Platform in Morecambe tonight. I've not seen Neil Innes in many a year and it'll be my first Rutles gig. I was giving their LP a spin last night. Smiley

Merry Hell are playing the same venue on Friday. I might go along.

I'd love to see the Rutles!

You could go and see The Rutles at the Cavern tonight.

https://www.cavernclub.com/events/event/the-rutles/

Then they play Preston tomorrow and Glasgow and Edinburgh on Saturday and Sunday.

Richard Thompson, Kerrville Folk Festival, Sunday night...

It's a 2-hour drive each way, with RT wrapping up probably after 10:00 p.m. Sunday.  Not as grueling as driving all the way home from Houston after Nick Mason, but still I'm not sure I can do this one, I'm sorry to say.  I won't decide for sure until the day.

I've just bought a ticket to rut at the Robin next week. Wish I hadn't seen the later post for the t-shirt though, I covet, and I'm supposed to getting the money together for festival tix. I'm hoping to do Cornbury for the first time this year.

One of my favourite American acts tonight, the brilliant Willie Nile at the Musician, Leicester. One of only 5 UK dates, so looking like a sell out.

In which case you'll also see my mate Ali Wilson on drums.   Smiley

I couldn't make any of the first three so was gutted.  I'm now very happy.

Me also.
He did say there might be more if the first ones sold well, so thanks to all those people who are now going to gigs miles away when he's now playing more local. This is Steve Hillage, so you will have amassed loads of Karma points for that.

The Monochrome Set at the Jericho Tavern Oxford, November 23rd...Have just played my vinyl copy of Strange Boutique from 1980, and amazed at how fresh and vital it still sounds...Quirky, eccentric, melodic, and completely original...Brilliant stuff !

Thanks for the heads-up, Mike. Bristol for me! (Unless he plays Glos/Chelt)

Two for me in the next week.

Ian Prowse & Amsterdam at the 100 Club in London on Saturday. That's going to be a hot one by the look of it.  Undecided

Nick Lowe in Hove on Tuesday. My first time seeing Nick since 1984.
