Still too much for my blood. And too much to digest.

I have however pre-ordered his new studio album. I have no idea why as I shall probably never listen to the previous one again and it is more of the same. I am reminded of the period after Oh Mercy when writer's block struck for nearly a decade and he only surfaced to put out two (pretty good) albums of trad folk songs. I wonder if this is a sign of something similar after the relative purple patch of the previous 15 years.

Man, that sucks. I would be more excited about that than the studio stuff. I would definitely buy that if it was released commercially, in whatever format.
