Does anybody know who to contact about a pitch at the Cropredy Boot Fair?
I'd start by mailing festival@fairportconvention.com.

Part of a run of 4 60th Anniversary gigs next May - current 5-piece line-up "joined by special guests reflecting the band's rich and storied history" (from the 2026 tour programme) Mon 24 PERTH Concert Hall Tue 25 MANCHESTER New Century Hall Wed 26 BIRMINGHAM Town Hall Thu 27 LONDON Union Chapel (the actual 60th anniversary of the the first FC gig) (And the "acoustic" tour is coming to Gloucester Guildhall 15 Oct, which means I can have a few beers!) The programme states tix for 25-27 are on sale now, Perth to come soon... Manchester on sale now £59.74 (inc fees), Brum tix on sale from Fri 27th £55 (plus fees) I can't find anything on the Union Chapel site at the moment. That's the one for me!

Last year's advert says... "Sellers just rock up at the gate!"

Latest goodies. 60% off in the Oxfam sale. Don't know the book, but think it may have been mentioned here. The tape is a first UK issue L&L

I was now years old when I learned that Thompy played on a version of ‘General Taylor’ with Johnny Depp on vocals. Every day’s a learning day!

Every day is a forgetting day too. I can't remember how we're supposed to pronounce "Thompy". Jules

Does anybody know roughly how rare the withdrawn sleeve for Full House with Poor Will & The Jolly Hangman listed ? Tens ,a hundred or so , or more? Also Poor Will features on some labels , I've only seen 2 of those in the last year , so I suspect this is rarer still

I suggest you get yourself to Discogs to work your way through all the different variants. In general, I believe, the 'withdrawn sleeve' wasn't withdrawn at all, but just had a sticker placed over it, but obviously some got out without that. And the honest truth/cliche is of course they're only worth what someone is prepared to pay for them....so condition etc. (and simply how well they are photographed and listed) will have a huge element to play here. High tens would be my guess, but I'm no expect (I know more about the 8 track and cassette versions, mind)....

Someone posted a gig guide from the NME in 1973 on Facebook which included this. I haven't heard of either of the support acts.

Malcolm Morley was (fairly briefly, but maybe around then, perhaps before) in Bees Make Honey after Help Yourself. I've always thought of them as 'pub rock'....
