There seems to be a series of these "On Track" books being published this year. Of the ones that are already available that have been reviewed on Amazon, the response seems to be mostly positive so fingers crossed. I quite fancy The Moody Blues one too and a couple of others.

Yes they are quite nice. I've read a couple of them (Jethro Tull and Genesis so far) and I find this 'every-track-concept' interresting in commenting something on every song and not only the regular classics and most famous albums and tracks. Refreshes some memories and so on.  Smiley

As it is the 50th anniversary of Full House next year, wouldn't it be great and fitting if Richard Thompson would join Fairport on the 2020 Winter Tour to play the album in full.

RT might not be there but glad I was right on the rest of this! Looking forward to it!

Can I assume that the Paul Warren from Burlesque is the same drummer from Fairport (see t-shirt)? 😁

It's a good question.  In the absence of any evidence to the contrary, I'm going to go with 'probably'  Wink Smiley

I know Roger Hill and Tom Farnell have appeared but don't recall Paul Warren having done so.

From the FC website looks as if the new album will be called "Shuffle and Go" with 13 tracks.

Fairport have played in Worthing on almost every Wintour that I can recall for the last 30 years. I have not always attended in the last few years but this year, given that they are doing Full House and all, I would really like to see them. Ironically they are not coming here. Or anywhere near here (Farnham & Bexhill are a bit of a hike). Did we do something to upset them?  Undecided

Good question. I saw it somewhere. Possibly someone quoting from the Cropredy programme either here or on FB? i can't check as I wasn't there so don't have one.
