Tough task. My punt:

1. Hokey Pokey
2. Mock Tudor
3. I Want to See the Bright Lights Tonight
4. In Concert November 1975
5. Mirror Blue
6. 1000 Years of Popular Music
7. Shoot out the Lights
8. Rumour & Sigh
9. Electric
10. Industry

Only heard "Electric briefly - I suspect it'll creep up the list after more exposeure.

I haven't even heard 10 RT albums in total, I don't think, but I still think Henry the Human Fly is the best.  Smiley

No votes for Bones of All Good Men, then.

Until now!

I love that album's blend of medieval & (electric) rock.

Yep!...Count me in as well...I love that album, and Peggy, Simon, and DM are staggeringly good ! Cool

Struggling with a top 10, but "Mock Tudor", "Rumor and Sigh", "Bright Lights", and "In Concert 1975" would always be in there no matter what !

My favourite and most played though would have to be "Watching The Dark" ...but as it's a compilation (including the Fairport years) it probably doesn't count... Undecided

I have a tale to tell about that album--I had it before it was released!

I got married back in February 1998. Some months before the event, we realised that Fairport were playing Cambridge (where we then lived) on the evening of our wedding day, so we did the obvious thing and bought tickets. I then wrote to Simon to ask if we might have a song dedicated to us that night. I happened to mention, as well, that my intended was a baroque musicologist.

Simon wrote back, promising a dedication, provided that his memory held up. In addition, having learnt of my future wife's musical leanings, he enclosed as a wedding present a cassette of Bones of All Men, some time before its release. Not only that, on the night he remembered the dedication: we had Royal Seleccion No. 13 played for us!

I got it.  I presumed Dan did that on purpose.  Made me chuckle.
