RIP Scotty, the guitarist without whom none of us would be here, probably.

I was already here before Scotty played with Elvis. I was 4 . Grin

Sad to hear of the death of bassist Rob Wasserman aged 63. He played on many fine albums, Van Morrison's "Beautiful Vision" & Lou Reed's "New York" being among my favourites. His finest work perhaps, was with Bob Weir as a duo & in Ratdog. RIP.

Aye, indeed - saw that from Mark Karan.  A talent to be sure...  Sad.

Which reminds me...somewhere I have some really good photos from that first Ratdog tour.  They were special nights.

Marni Nixon.

A name that few know but a voice that many have heard.

I have a major soft spot for the soundtrack to West Side Story, to which she was a major contributor despite what it may say on the sleeve.

That is tragic - a member of two of my favourite bands. I've never been a huge fan of the sax, but I loved Keith's work, particularly with Audience.
