 Ric Ocasek, founder and songwriter of The Cars, died today at age 75.    My brother was really into the Cars, I just had a 12" of Heartbeat City, but they did some great songs. I remember a solo album Beatitude which I really liked too.Sad News! |

 Sad about Barry Masters. I hadn't heard about that. Picking up the Live At the Marquee EP in 1976 was one of my formative musical experiences and I followed the band through their first few albums. Sadly I never got to see them live. |
