Such sad news to wake up to.Weirdly, as far as I can see, it is still not being reported by the BBC and all the other reports seem to be based on a single tweet. Being reported on BBC News todayYes it seems to have appeared within the last hour. I will break out my copy of The Colour Of Spring later, one of my all time favourite albums. |

There was an awful lot of righteous indignation around online last night, basically along the lines of "how dare you report this because I haven't seen a death certificate so how do I know it's true".  I guess this is the flip side of the whole false news things, but generally things get "leaked" or "reported" differently.  Like this time, a cousin let something slip online, didn't they?  That's how it happens.  The world is changing, and I guess we haven't quite caught up....  The BBC is probably the last organisation I'd count on as a reliable arbiter of 'the truth' these days... |

A big favourite at home growing up - we watched most of his shows on TV. And we loved him on Morecambe and Wise. RIP Mr Preview |

49, same age as my husband. Very sad, he was a proper character. I love the Prodigy, they're my "go to" music to clear my ears after hearing dross (Celine Dion etc). RIP Firestarter    |

I wasn't aware that he played on some of the stuff I've been listening to for years, but I first came across his name from a live John Denver album. R.I.P Hal. |
