What with our Helen and The Neighbourhood Dogs rehearsal last night in advance of next weekís Maverick Festival (tickets still available, but move fast) it seems only right to post this weekís weekend blog throwback about my first visit, way back in 2008. That barnís a restaurant and soft play area now, you knowÖ

My Night with Rich Hall. A lengthy exposition on festivals, fanboydom, and the role of the Stage Manager. I did an interview from Maverick around Sunday lunchtime that in previous years would have involved a presenter in a pair of oversized headphones, a mic with one of those sound baffles you always put on the end of your nose so you look like a muppet, and an OB van. This year I dictated it into my phone and it was on air half an hour later.

A rather lengthy Midweek Throwback - 2007 dawns bright, clear and brimming with hope. Spoiler alert: by this time in 2008, we were *not* millionairesÖ

Nostalgia Sunday, and one of my best-performing blog entries - a TAW-heavy tale of Spinal Tapisms, Jobsworth security and Ukuleles. https://skirky.blogspot.com/2007/04/not-you-youre-one-of-five-per-cent.html
