In the last few minutes both Ancient and H have done it.
People keep replying to Notification eMails.

If you had set up to receive Notification eMails when you get a Personal Message, do not reply to the eMail (it says that).
You must reply on the board.

If you reply to the eMail it ends up in the server's default mailbox, because it was the server that sent you the eMail.
I then see it as an error message.

No I haven't!  Err, have I?  I replied to a personal message about 20 ,minutes ago, but not via email - in fact I've just checked my sent items and I'm sure I haven't, so if an email from me's popped up then something weird's going on...

Sorry the notification was sent to Andy and it was rejected by his host.

I would very strongly suggest that everybody checks that the email address in their profile is valid.

Phew!  Thought for a second I'd maybe left my out of office on and Outlook was trying to be 'helpful'.

I wondered what was happening to my notifications. I'm with orange, how do I stop them rejecting your notification emails?
