Early Stones compilation.

Satisfaction
Let's Spend The Night Together
Paint It Black
Sympathy For The Devil
Gimme Shelter

Gimme Shelter features backing vocals by Merry Clayton. There's a great film called "20 Feet From Stardom" in which she is interviewed about how this came to be. Great film.

When I was a kid, I naïvely thought that was Jagger singing her part.  It has to be one of the all-time greatest vocal performances.  She owns that record!

I'll look out for that film, Andy.

We haven't done this for ages (three years in fact) but I thought this was an interesting sequence (extended to seven).

Cowboy - Randy Newman
Truth Hits Everybody - The Police
Disguises - The Who
Street Fighting Man - The Rolling Stones
Walkin' In LA - Steve Earle & the Dukes
September Gurls - Big Star
