That particular CD, 'Easy Sunrise', is indeed lovely. On the back of that, I spent slightly over the odds on eBay for one of their earlier CDs, 'Pieces', which was nice, but not nearly as good. Not a bad thing for a band to get better as they go on though.

I know we shouldn't correct people's spelling on here, but just in case someone wants to google the band, it's Ygdrassil, not Ydgrassil.

Thanks Dave, I'm glad you did because I would hate to prevent anyone listening to their wonderful music by not being able to find them.

To make it easier, here's their Myspace site:

OK breaking from tradition this is the last five tracks. They had just finished playing and I thought what great songs they were.

Home Again (Greek Version) - Blackmore's Night
The Wild Goose - Kate Rusby
You Can't Kill Me - Gong
Hurry on Sundown - Hawkwind
Once I had a Sweetheart - Pentangle

Sometimes iTunes DJ throws some great tracks together. Though earlier it went from a couple of nice quite classical pieces straight in to Mastodon.
