I think I'll try to get to the Southampton one
Wow, you managed to say the "S" word without choking!!

Yes...I noticed that too ! Grin Grin

They're so insignificant and useless now that they are no threat to the mighty Pompey Wink

Too be honest Dan, the last few times I've see 'em they've swung more towards WCTW than LTL, but I know what you mean. As long as they don't do it for the 20th anniversary of Hello Pig  Roll Eyes

Fair enough. Hello Pig wasn't too bad, but a little more experimental than usual, if I remember correctly.

Hello Pig was a very inconsistent album imo, in that it had some really great tracks, but mingled in with some absolute tosh. LTL was certainly their classic though, along with Zeitgeist.

There's a Premier Inn just round the corner from Rock City.

I offer my services as tour guide for those who wish to see the bright lights of Old Nottingham Town Grin Grin

Thanks for the offer John, but Nottingham used to be my old stomping ground back in the late 60s. It can't have changed that much, can it Undecided Undecided Undecided

We were there last Saturday for Mark Chadwick at the Rescue Rooms, some very fine drinking. (and we didn't even go to the beer festival). There's a Premier Inn and a Holiday Inn on a trading estate just past the castle, not a bad walk into town but away from it all at night.

Ahh yes, Castle Marina, my brother lives on a narrowboat there. Apparently, Rebecca Adlington lives in one of the posh flats on Castle Boulevard.

The Premier Inn near Rock City is a bit closer & as far as I know is in a quiet bit of town too, & according to a certain Mr R.P.Mc Murphy the bar is open till 5.00am!!!

Just as a point of inteterest, R2 Magazine are the media sponsor of the 'Levelling The land' tour. You can see our logo on the tour adverts. R2 25 (With a huge Levellers interview and track on our covermount CD) will be on sale on the merchandising stand throughout the entire tour.
I'll almost certainly be at Newcastle.

I think that the Stuffies will be on stage around 8pm, with the Levs on around 9pm for approx a hour and a half allowing for 45mins for Levelling the land album. Therefore I will be in the Victoria pub before - good pub.
