I was steaming and scraping away today when the Proclaimers sprang into my head as an ideal Croppers act.

Anyway, yes they would go down well.

I wholeheartedly agree with the earlier suggestions of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, I don't think anything could keep me away next August if that was announced!  Grin
I'd also like to see Amy MacDonald, Kathryn Williams & Neill MacCol, Josh Ritter & John Tams.
Alison Krauss & Union Station would be good too, she has a fantastic voice and they're just the right level of bluegrass for me.

Donovan

Yes I know there is a strong (well, vocal!) anti-Donovan contingent on the board, but I can just imagine listening to Jennifer, Juniper etc as the sun goes down on the Friday, before the headline act comes on.

And I'm going to repeat myself - The Blues Band/Manfred Man. They would be awesome. Come on Peggy!! Get them signed up  Tiara

Give Donovan a short set just for the comedy value and historical interest. And for the memory of Alan Price saying to Dylan that "he's a great guitarist, better than you" on Don't Look Back. More comedy. Bob was very nice about it.

Yeah, Donovan would be good.  Or, indeed, Alan Price himself.
