Thanks.  I wonder if they stuck to that figure.

Yours for £499.99 (admittedly only 1 bidder mind - 2 bids but the 2nd is a protective bid from the same bidder).

Track 18, Disc 19 of my Sandy box set has a flaw, which is described by a couple of Amazon commentators as follows:

"There appears to be a defect in track 18 of disc 19. There is a 10-second gap from 2:44 to 2:54, then a 2-second gap from 3:18 to 3:20. Does anyone know if this is a gap in the source tape, or a defect in the CD? Has anyone else noticed this in theirs?" 10 Jan 2011

Robert Burns says:  "This was brought up on an earlier review and was found to be a defect in the original tape source. Considering the age of much of this material, and the fact that much of it was never meant to be released, I'm surprised that there aren't more defects."

Did anyone on this board receive a version without the flaw?  Has anyone downloaded Track 18, Disc 19 from iTunes, and, if so, is it flawed?

John, there is no version without the flaw, whatever format you play it in:

"Track 18 on disc 19, Full Moon has 2 drop outs. These were on the original source master so there was nothing that could be done to fix them. The track was left on as it is a rare home demo that, on the whole is a much better version. Unfortunately the problem with the track was not explained in the accompanying book. It is not a production error."

Someone on the Yahoo List suggested you should imagine her singing during the silent passages -- a nice idea.

Like I say, I understand this is highly unlikely but if you don't ask............... Grin
