Went to watch a Story Telling night featuring Hugh Lupton about Arthur Ransome and his escape from Russia, which was marvelous. Nick was taking the money at the door and Maddy was sat in my row. Not bad for a turn out of about 20, to be honest not many more could fit in.

From Maddy's website:- "TOUR NEWS: Maddy will be touring with Giles Lewin and Benji Kirkpatrick in October 2010 and with the Carnival Band at Christmas. Dates to be announced."

Has anyone caught any of Maddy & Nick Hennesey's concerts. I had a ticket for Houghton-Le-Spring but couldn't go.

Has anyone caught any of Maddy & Nick Hennesey's concerts. I had a ticket for Houghton-Le-Spring but couldn't go.    

I saw them at Hornby.  An inspired partnership.  A really enjoyable evening of song and story.  An unexpected highlight was Maddy's spoken rendition of 'King Henry'!
