Looks like he's out of danger, good news. Decided the expense of the big, big, box is really not justifiable. Some quick searching has found some of the shows listed so far are still available as soundboard downloads. Time to grab 'em while they're still up. I do love a little project.

Looks like he's out of danger, good news. Maybe he'd just heard about the new box set. Decided the expense of the big, big, box is really not justifiable. Now that, sir, is a bona fide excellent notion. Jules

Ludicrous indeed, but the Netflix biopic of Bob Weir the article cites is well worth a watch...
Just watched the Weir documentary yesterday. Really very well done, found out quite a few things I didn't know.

I was so tempted, and almost did it. But I can't justify $700. I think I'll just go with the 4 CD set and be happy.

They probably figure that most of their fans work in Silicon Valley these days. Jules

Nice, thanks. "What's Become of the Baby"? Really? Don't think the Dead ever performed it live before. This guy has uploaded videos of yesterday's show. If you're not already familiar with it, checkout the run of shows he did with Lesh at the Warfield in '97. All three nights are fab. https://archive.org/details/1999-04-15.paf.sbd.miller.25295.sbeok.flacf

I do remember them, actually. I've always thought Phish were amazing musicians...just that most of what they played was, well, er, um, pretty rubbish....

Some of Phil's vocals are truly appalling...have you heard the Alligator? I can sort of like some of his vocals with his own band but these are a bit beyond the pale...

Yeah, sadly most of these concerts are unlistenable. I wish this technology existed back in the day ...
