I expect it could work out at £350-400 inc postage and customs.
Which isn't really that bad for over 60 CDs. Ooh, I don't know. Shall I, or shan't I? I wonder - do they take the money in advance, or charge you on release date? Jules The latter (although remember that means you need to factor in changes in exchange rates). Postage has just been announced as $85 (so thats $535 (£335)). I'm just trying to work out what the customs will be now. The technology still wasn't working last night, but someone I know has just ordered from France successfully.

I think "too much of a good thing" has been approached, passed and left behind at this point. If you're a DeadHead (I'm not) this no doubt makes sense, but to me... ye gods!

I have started putting all my CDs on a hard drive (and a thoroughly tedious job that is) to try and restore some order to my chaotic filing make a bit of room.

How does that make room unless you get rid of the actual CDs afterwards ?

A true Deadhead can always find space for another 60 CD's. Whether you can find the time to listen to them all is a different matter.

I think it may well get its own room shelf. I've tried to order a copy but I'm not convinced it went through. No confirmation email has shown up. In fact I'm equally as worried that I sent in two orders because of popup problems. The Dead.net site is notorious for this sort of thing. Hmmm..... Jules

They don't actually, Andy. They aren't taking the money out until then.

Ah, that's far more acceptable. That'll be difficult for anyone whose cards expire before then, then.

Well, I'd hope my scenario was slightly more common and less impactful.
I have recently been given "Dicks Picks 1970-83" in digital form which seems to consist of 120 or so CD's and have no idea where to start other than at the first and working my way through.
Would that be the best approach, DeadHeads?
