Nice. It'll be interesting to hear how it stands up to versions already available. Personally, I always thought the previous night's Boston Garden show was at least as good, even with the equipment problems.  |

Saw 'em a few weeks later in my hometown (Baltimore) at the end of May. One of the better shows of theirs that I saw. They were very good then. I remember they played a bunch of stuff from the upcoming album, songs we had never heard before, even one with Donna singing lead (!). And singing well (!).

I've played Bob Weir's new album twice through now, and it's absolutely lovely. I like to call it "grown up" music, because it's soft, mid-tempo and mature, like me. |

Two stand outs are the Nothrop Aud, Minneapolis 19/10, which is Keith's first show & first airings of 6 new songs. The NY Winterland show is great, but my version has the best bit (Other One Reprise>Jam>Black Peter) missing. For the price, it's probably worth a punt. Interesting & curious indeed. Other than Merle Haggard's "Okie From Muskogee" hardly worth a second listen. Probably great fun on the night. |
