From what I can ascertain Midwich records is dead, to have been reborn/replaced by Rif Mountain records. http://www.rifmountain.com/home.htmlFrom this one can ascertain that the marvelous Owl Service will shortly have new material out, and there are free weekly downloads from this project on the front page. And bloody good they are too, Haul the Plough especially....minimalist (to say the least) but still bloody good.

I'll keep an eye on their pages. How was the fog in deepest darkest Denbighshire today?

There should be four releases of new material this year - an EP, a full length album and two 7" singles. Unfortunately a lot of their earlier releases were tiny limited runs and are next to impossible to find now, although the Garland of Song album from 2007 is still available and is highly recommended.

Sorry to sound so repetitive but the fifth and final part is up (actually I think there is a problem with this download - or at least there is for me - I get a corrupt file message. Other download below is fine) In addition there is a magnificent download from the Christmas gig in Rochester - one song by Nancy & Jason and four from the Owl Service set....

I'm glad its not just me!
I couldn't get it to work, and still can't. Steven from the band emailed me a copy though so if anyone wants it, and can't get it, drop me an IM with your email addy and I'll send it to you. (2.56Mb btw)
