Oh Gawd - not Bellowhead AGAIN. They were there in 2008.

Sorry - can't stand 'em. Love the individual musicians (most of them, anyway) - but the band just sounds an unholy mess to me, and I have tried to like them!

Still - Towersey is Towersey - so I will be there.

You don't have to go and see them, Mark. I'm sure there are other acts on at the same time.

And I propose another TAW gathering at the Festival Dance House, since they have nice staff there... Smiley

Barry, you only just found out about Wood & Cutting? I've been very excited for quite a few weeks now.

TAW gathering - yes please. You stewarding again? Any news on the Sunday Dance House headliner?

Nah Annie - I've been extremely excited for weeks too... but my busy schedule means forums get neglected, sadly.

Yes, I will be helping to keep the FDH crew in order again Smiley

No inside information at the moment, I'm afraid...

i think they also headlined the year before....i've overloaded on seeing um so might see something different instead....obviously if chris wood/andy cutting are doing their thing i'm there instead!  also a friend of my best mates playing-Nancy Wallace...superb female vocalist...yeah i know there's 10 to the dozen of singers with acoustics out there at the mo but this lady is seriously good...one of those acts you'll hopefully come away from thinking you've just discovered a hidden gem. Nancy Wallace is really wonderful, have seen her twice now and have her CD. It's so great that she's booked at a proper folk festival.

Its not up on the Towersey site yet as far as i can see, but it seems that Georgie Fame is doing the Thursday evening concert this year.

I'm happy with that!  Cheesy

Do you think a TAW/BYF/melodeon.net squeeze orientated session might be in order too?! (Obviously we shall have to check that Andy Cutting is not around when we start up...)
