Simon, thanks for joining in the discussions so enthusiastically.

I think volume 3 is the most accessible ACSS album, having the big guest names must have helped raise the album profile. What was it like working with Peter, Robert, Mairead etc? Did they just come in and do their spot and go or were they involved in the creative process as well.

Robert Plant...big hair
Peter Gabriel....big blue ball

Big Girls?
Mairead....tiny, but VERY big hair and a big heart

kinda done Volume 3 in one of the other streams so check that.

I am off till Monday gigging with the IV at the Rudlestat festival in Germany, home of the sausage, fine beer and ****, defensive, old school european football. We are all hoping Billy Bragg will wear his Spanish football team shirt and knowing Billy he will. I will be in my lederhosen and I wont mention the w*r

That will be interesting, to hear what the Germans think of it.

Never mind the germans, can you bring the IV posse north of the border?

What about Celtic Connections? Bellowhead played at it last year.

I would love to see the band live and I'm seriously thinking about a weekend down south to catch the band somewhere this year. The web page doesn't have any dates listed although I think they are on Myspace.

Cheers

Chris Wood has the dates on his website.

Looks like there's just Cambridge Folk Festival and The Big Chill.

Hi Ronnie

I also have another gig date on the 20th July at Camp Bestival, Lulworth Castle, Dorset. Sorry but it's further south again.

http://www.campbestival.net/

We have added Eliza Carthy and The Imagined Village to the 'Bright Young Folk' website community at

http://www.brightyoungfolk.com

and hope to keep all details updated. So keep checking back.
