I was hoping it would arrive last Sat. It didn't. Now the earliest it could arrive will be tomorrow as there is no mail delivery today  Angry

Of course, this also means I don't have to go to work today, so there is a silver lining  Smiley

Indeed. I ordered Joni's Blue, and CSNY's Deja Vu as well to push it over the £15 and get the free postage. They saw me coming.

Great, in parts sublime, especially the guitar. But not perfect. Is some of the sex war stuff a bit adolescent, a bit sub-Costello? Provokes... and withdraws!

Listened to it yesterday.

Not bad and I enjoyed the music. Haven't had a chance to reflect on the lyrics yet so the jury is still out but the prospects of a positive verdict are good.

touches of lyrical genius....

"You're someone I can't help betray
Because you built me up that way"

"She charmed me from my cocoon
She eclipsed the sun and the moon
All that summer my feet never walked on the Earth"

and best of all

"As they’re turning hard-a-port in the Bahamas
He’s turning her right out of her pyjamas"

Great stuff!
