Oh dammit, wish I had been there too....just sloth on my part really (not the one on Full House) - and I was on call (not that it's stopped me before).

I agree that it's absolutely marvellous that Fairport's name is on the bell, and will be for hundreds of years. It sums up everything the band,  the festival AND the audience is about. And thanks for posting the lovely photos.

Oh well, at least I saw Peggy the night before with the Dylans in Leicester - and did they rock? Not arf! 2-3 encores and the gallery nearly demolished by foot stamping. Anybody else there? Ed
