This evening in Southampton I experienced a most amazing concert of Balkan gypsy folk music, played on a selection of brass instruments by the Kocani Orkestar. They are a group of musicians that hail from the town of Kocani in Macedonia, the band have just embarked on a small tour of the UK. If they come anywhere near your neck of the woods, I highly recommend you go out to see them.
Time Out describes them as, formidable,explosive & sh*t hot !

Their remaining dates are;

8/10 Islington Academy
9/10 Regal Arts Centre, Worksop.
11/10 West End Centre, Aldershot
12/10 Aberystwyth Arts Centre
13/10 Borough Theatre, Abergavenny
14/10 Pontardawe Arts Centre
15/10 Wyeside Arts Centre, Builth Wells
16/10 Theatr Mwldan, Cardigan
17/10 Canterbury Festival
18/10 The Komedia, Brighton
