Yeah, but not sure I like the little drum thing DM did at the beginning. I like DM's accompaniment drumming very much, but he can't solo on his own (ie, not in a song, before someone says 'What about Horse's Brawl) at all. But that's for elsewhere. Great clip and here's the URL http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=aNI5lvQFmtcI also believe Swarb still uses that mando in Lazarus? ![](http://www.swarbslazarus.com/IMG_2523.JPG)

No but in other things like Matty Groves off 'From Cropredy to Portmeirion' the solo's not great. But I do agree, top drummer, one of the best, just not a soloing.

Is that Simon playing Peggy's bass? Or just bass parts on his own guitar. He and RT look too stoned to care. It's a real "Birmingham boys" on v. "London Boys" on stage. Great clip.

Looks like bass parts on his own guitar I think... Personally, I think Peggy wins the "falling asleep on stage due to the excess consumption of Mary Jane" award ![Smiley](http://www.talkawhile.co.uk/~nicktalk/Smileys/nurse/smiley.gif)

His guitar is much MUCH bigger (see other clips)

Wasn't the violin bass Simon's own?

Pity the cameraman didn't show more of Simon & RT's instruments as they would nowadays.

Yeah, soloing on your own is a tricky one.
I've heard Mattacks doing brilliant solos all by himself though.
